Job summary

Optum Telehealth Urgent Care program is seeking a National On Call Advanced Practice Clinician to provide telephonic/telehealth care and care direction to patients and caregivers 24/7. This remote role supports multiple markets with a focus on privacy and secure documentation.

Ideal candidates are Certified APRNs with MSN/DNP, an active NY license and DEA, and a track record in telehealth and care coordination. A sign-on bonus may apply for location-based roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
• Active and unrestricted license in the state you reside, plus State of New York, and ability to obtain in other required locations.
• Active Nurse Practitioner certification through a national board (e.g., AANP or ANCC).
• Current, active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic/telehealth care and direction to patients, caregivers, and facility staff 24/7.
• Coordinate care across care settings and communicate with facilities, hospitals, and PCPs.
• Document encounters and ensure CMS-compliant records; deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
