Job summary

Buckley Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Billing Specialist to manage remote billing for FDX/ HFC projects. You will review field work, validate billables, and coordinate with Operations to prevent invoicing delays.

Ideal candidates have telecom construction billing experience, familiarity with OSP, and strong Excel skills. You will translate field production into customer-ready invoices, ensure accuracy, and resolve discrepancies quickly to keep revenue flowing.

Qualifications

• Experience with telecommunications billing for OSP projects.
• Strong understanding of HFC construction and/or FDX network construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction prints, designs, maps, work orders, and field documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process billing for completed OSP telecommunications construction projects.
• Review completed FDX and HFC construction work for billing accuracy.
• Validate billable construction units, quantities, footage, materials, and applicable rate codes.
• Compare field production and completed construction against designs, maps, work orders, and supporting documentation.
• Identify missing or incorrect billing information before invoices are submitted.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Construction Coordinators, and staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Verify that required documentation is complete and supports billed units.
• Track completed work that has not yet been billed to prevent revenue loss.
• Maintain accurate billing records and project documentation.
