Job summary

Buckley Cable Construction is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Billing Specialist to review completed HFC/FDX work and prepare accurate invoices. The role focuses on validating billable units, quantities, and documentation to support timely customer billing.

The ideal candidate has billing experience in telecom construction, familiarity with OSP concepts, and strong Excel skills to manage high volumes of projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience with telecommunications construction billing preferred.
• Knowledge of HFC and/or FDX network construction.
• Ability to read construction prints, designs, maps and work orders.
• Proficient in Excel and standard business applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process billing for completed OSP telecom projects.
• Review FDX and HFC construction work for billing accuracy.
• Validate billable units, quantities, footage, materials, and rate codes.
• Compare field production against designs, maps, and work orders.
• Identify missing or incorrect billing information before invoices are submitted.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Field staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure documentation supports billed units and track unbilled work.
• Maintain accurate billing records and project documentation.
• Research disputed billing and coordinate corrections.
• Assist with reconciliation between production, customer quantities, and invoiced amounts.
