Job summary

Critical Facility Group is a remote-first MEP consulting and owner’s project management firm specializing in data centers and mission-critical facilities. We are hiring a Telecommunications Design Engineer to design inside-plant telecom infrastructure for data centers and complex facilities.

You will own design packages from initial layouts through construction support and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of telecommunications design experience in data centers.
• Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of structured cabling standards.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design telecom pathways, rooms, racks, and fiber/copper structured cabling systems.
• Develop drawings and specifications using Revit and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and architectural teams.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction-phase design.
