Job summary
Red Hat is seeking a Senior Architect to join its Telco Services Consulting Services team in North America. The role emphasizes aligning customer requirements with Red Hat cloud solutions, guiding automation and DevOps adoption, and leading architecture design across multiple teams to meet demanding client needs.
The position is remote with travel to customer sites across the United States or Canada, requiring collaboration with product, engineering, support, services, and sales teams to deliver
Qualifications
- 5-8 years in a related technology position such as consulting or operations
- 4+ years with Public Cloud and Linux technologies
- 4+ years with telecommunications technologies and networking
- 2+ years with automation frameworks and tools like Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible
- 2+ years with OpenShift, ACM, ACS, Quay, Ceph, or Kubernetes
- Experience with NFV, SR-IOV, ZTP, SDN or storage disciplines and DevOps tooling
- Experience with storage systems and virtualization platforms
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project and customer teams to meet timelines and goals
- Contribute to project documentation and diagrams including QA and ticket management
- Mentor and share knowledge with customers
- Guide adoption of automation and DevOps to improve cloud life cycle and uptime
- Translate client requirements into technology designs aligned with business goals
- Lead architecture design activities to integrate systems and technologies
