Job summary

RedHat is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to build, design, and present complex solutions for customers anywhere in the United States. You will collaborate with Product Teams, Engineering, and Sales to ensure an excellent customer experience and establish trusted relationships with IT professionals in key accounts.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience, with deep expertise in Linux, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and IT architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
• Eight (8) years of experience in software engineering, consulting, infrastructure management, sales engineering, or in a solutions architecture role.
• Five (5) years of experience with Linux system administration; virtualization providers; and giving technical presentations to groups.
• Three (3) years of experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud), Kubernetes, IT architecture management, and hyperscaler services.

Responsibilities

• Build, design, and present complex solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with Product Teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services and Sales teams for excellent customer experience.
• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert and build long-lasting relationships within key accounts.
• Prepare detailed product specifications and implement customer installation plans.
• Demonstrate expertise by delivering white papers and presenting at conferences and user groups.
