Job summary

ACD Direct, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Mid-Level TechOps Engineer to join our fully remote team and help build, automate, and maintain the infrastructure for our cloud-based contact center solutions.

You will own CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, work with AWS/Azure/GCP, and contribute to IaC, security practices, and incident response. Remote, async-friendly environment with quarterly data-center visits.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/TechOps
• Solid experience with CI/CD tooling like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) with core services
• Experience with Docker and orchestration concepts
• Scripting or automation (Bash, Python)
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles; Terraform experience
• Security fundamentals: access controls, encryption, patching, audit logs
• Strong written communication and documentation
• Ability to work independently in a remote async environment

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for serverless and containerized applications
• Automate deployment, configuration, scaling, and monitoring workflows
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, services, investigate alerts, diagnose root causes, resolve incidents
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management initiatives
• Participate in security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and PCI DSS compliance monitoring
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams to improve deployment velocity and release quality
• Help onboard and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation for systems, runbooks, and operational processes
• Participate in Agile SDLC ceremonies and contribute to sprint-based delivery
