Job summary

ELIassen Group is seeking a Technical Writer for a remote 18-month contract-to-hire engagement.

You will produce clear, compliant documentation for backend systems and mobile applications in a regulated Life Sciences environment, collaborating with technical implementation teams to define document requirements and create high-quality content covering software and system architecture, design, product requirements, and data solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience producing, editing, and proofreading technical software documentation.
• Experience in regulated environments and for audits.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear text and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with technical teams to define documentation needs and deliver content.
• Create, edit, and maintain documentation for backend components and mobile apps.
• Prepare documents for Quality Management System compliance in a regulated setting.
• Standardize writing processes and improve lifecycle practices.
• Develop data and component diagrams and manage content using GitHub workflows.
