Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Writer to support VA Health Technology Management Services. The role focuses on managing artifacts for senior leadership during Electronic Health Record transitions. It is fully remote within the United States with core hours 8am–5pm ET.

The writer will craft clear, concise narratives, edit artifacts, and collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to maintain consistent standards and improve communications across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with VA or federal projects is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong editing, drafting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, rewrite, and edit technical documentation and team communications.
• Translate complex issues into clear narratives for senior leadership.
• Apply editorial styles and ensure consistency across documents.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop comprehensive deliverables.
