Job summary

Sierra Management and Technologies, Inc. seeks a Technical Writer to revise and write standardized material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals and maintenance guidance.

You will work under supervision on equipment operation and production procedures, integrating data from catalogs and drawings. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least three years of technical writing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of experience performing technical writing duties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience with document management systems and version control.

Responsibilities

• Revise or write standardized material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related publications.
• Organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Assist in the development of Contract Data Requirements List, standard operating procedures, and policies.
• May assist in writing speeches, articles, and public or employee relations releases.
