Job summary

You will collaborate with engineers and program managers to translate complex systems into clear documentation, host review meetings, and ensure standards compliance. Requires 6+ years, MS Word, FrameMaker, and Adobe tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of technical writing principles and standards.
• Excellent editing, proofreading, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, format, and maintain technical documentation for complex aerospace and defense systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and subject matter experts to gather and interpret technical information.
• Create operations, maintenance, technical, and procedural manuals and related documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and CAD models to understand system functionality.
• Develop initial documentation and templates with minimal direction from subject matter experts.
• Host and participate in internal and external documentation review meetings.
