Job summary

Peraton is seeking a creative Part-time / On-Call Technical Trainer / Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support a DoD customer. You will design and develop instructor-led and web-based training, working with SMEs to translate requirements into effective learning objectives and solutions.

You will apply adult learning principles, produce graphics-rich materials, ensure Section 508 compliance, and guarantee SCORM conformance across courses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years instructional design with BS/BA; 6+ years with MS/MA.
• Hands-on ILT and eLearning development experience.
• Portfolio showcasing technical and creative skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor-led and WBT materials, including plans, storyboards, graphics, assessments, and exercises.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate client requirements into learning objectives and solutions.
• Lead all phases of course development from analysis to delivery (eLearning modules, guides, job aids, multimedia).
• Apply adult learning principles to ensure effective, learner-centered content.
• Produce interactive course materials using graphics and multimedia techniques.
