Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Support Engineering team. This remote role focuses on helping customers across APJ, APAC, and EMEA with cases, chat, and virtual meetings, leveraging both ClickHouse Open-Source and Cloud offerings.

You will mentor peers and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to shape support capabilities. Ideal candidates have broad ClickHouse expertise, strong English communication, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Technical breadth in ClickHouse open-source or ClickHouse Cloud and related domains such as SQL databases and distributed systems.
• Experience in roles like Support Engineer, Consultant, DBA, SRE, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Ability to provide 24x7 support in a global, distributed environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; able to work fully remote with reliable connectivity.
• Teamwork, global engagement, empathy, and solving challenging problems.
• Ambition to build scalable, high-performing databases globally.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, customers and partners.
• Self-driven, curious, eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Support ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects via cases, chat, Slack, community, and meetings.
• Develop solutions based on ClickHouse Cloud and ClickHouse open-source for documentation, blogs, meetups, and training.
• Collaborate with Support Services, Engineering, GTM, and Product Management to define required functionality.
• Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, users, and customers.
• Deliver first-line technical support with professional responses, on-call coverage, and SLA adherence.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
