Job summary

ClickHouse, Inc. is expanding its Support Services team and seeks a Senior Consulting Engineer to deliver consultative support and hands-on engineering for enterprise customers worldwide. You'll work across consulting, engineering, and support to guide deployments, migrations, and POCs while shaping our technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, or Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience in implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, distributed DBMS.
• Broad technical knowledge in DBMS, OLAP, cloud/SaaS, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, and big data.
• Experience leading and shipping large technical projects with multiple engineers.
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their IaaS (EC2).
• Experience with ClickHouse and OSS/open-source technologies.
• Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

• Project Engineering & Consulting on customer projects including design, architecture, integration, and documentation.
• Consultative Support providing case-initiated guidance for onboarding, production launches, and POCs.
• Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance with hands-on tasks.
• Support L1-L3 cases and communications when not on projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to influence the roadmap.
• Create and maintain public/internal docs, reference architectures, blogs, and benchmarks.
• Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members; participate in scaling.
• Be available for on-call needs and travel up to 35% regionally.
