Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. seeks a highly experienced engineer to provide remote and on-site technical support for DDP products, addressing complex issues, guiding field engineers, and contributing to knowledge base creation.

The role requires at least 7 years’ experience with DDP products or similar, a technical bachelor’s degree, and travel up to 50%. The candidate will collaborate with FSO and BU teams, publish lessons learned, and support NPI activities within the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support multiple technical escalations, resolve with focus on time to resolution and quality of work
• Attend customer field issues meetings with FSO, collaborate with BU engineers
• Recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
• Publishing Technical Lessons Learned, troubleshooting guides, technical (ET) papers, etc.
• Provide on-site coaching to FSO Support
• NPI development early in the product life cycle, and at key customer sites
• Create, or collaborate in creation of, innovative advanced trouble shooting tools
