Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to bridge engineering and business development for government, nonprofit, and commercial opportunities in the United States. Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, full‑stack engineering, or a related technical role involving collaboration across product, design, research, and business development teams.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures, deployment workflows, and practical implementation strategies.
• Strong understanding of major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security principles, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53).
• Familiarity with SSO, SAML, OIDC, RBAC, and identity management technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Cross-functional project experience across engineering, product, design, growth, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on technical capabilities and service offerings, translating client needs into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with growth and engineering teams to review RFPs/RFIs and ensure feasible, compelling technical responses.
• Partner with capture managers to develop technical narratives and presentation materials.
• Contribute to cloud architecture and infrastructure design using major cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Incorporate security and compliance requirements into proposed architectures and solutions.
• Work across teams to align technical approaches with business objectives and user needs.
• Support internal engineering projects and contribute to design and development of technical solutions for proposals and demonstrations.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps and help improve collaboration between BD, engineering, and delivery.
• Develop internal knowledge of tools and processes and progressively assume greater responsibility for technical solution development.
• Maintain reliable internet access for remote work and participate in occasional in-person meetings as required.
