Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to support Hardware Design TPMs in driving design deliverables and component delivery. You will create schedules, manage mass production readiness, and ensure documentation is current for leadership review.

The role requires deep knowledge of product development processes, familiarity with product design and fabrication, and strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technology Development Program Manager in consumer electronics.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with overseas suppliers of hardware components.
• Experience with ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models.
• Knowledge of the phase-gate approach to technology development programs.
• Experience with mechanical system development, DFM, tooling, validation, and characterization.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Experience operating across multiple teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive engineering design deliverables for Hardware Design TPMs.
• Manage delivery of hardware components for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines.
• Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on requirements, lead times, and business needs.
• Maintain program structure for clarity and efficiency across teams and leadership.
• Communicate program statuses and identify potential setbacks, including vendor tooling schedules and design sprints.
• Coordinate communication within and between internal and external partners.
• Ensure program documents are current and accessible for staff and leadership review.
