Job summary
Freenome is seeking a Technical Product Manager to coordinate engineering initiatives for the Commercial Data Platform and Data Products. You will gather requirements, translate them into Epics and Stories, and align with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions for Commercial, Laboratory, and R&D groups.
You’ll lead the data platform roadmap, drive agile execution, and ensure data integrity and usability while navigating regulatory standards such as FDA and CAP/CLIA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a software development environment, ideally within biotechnology and NGS.
- Deep expertise in identification and prioritization of software features.
- Ability to lead complex trade-off decisions between functions and measurably improve organizational success.
- Experience leading software development efforts to meet regulated market standards (FDA, CAP/CLIA).
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and manage development processes for data platform and tools.
- Partner with lab and business stakeholders to elicit requirements and lead data platform definition with regulatory alignment.
- Translate product requirements into Epics and Stories with acceptance criteria.
- Track and drive development using Jira and ensure fulfillment of requirements.
- Lead interactions between users and engineers to meet user needs.
- Create and operationalize a technical strategy and roadmap for data products and pipelines.
