Job summary

Freenome is seeking a Technical Product Manager to plan and coordinate engineering initiatives for the Commercial Data Platform and Data Products, ensuring scalable and usable software for Commercial, Laboratory, and R&D teams.

You will gather requirements, translate them into epics and stories, prioritize work with cross-functional partners, and lead the data platform roadmap toward commercialization. This is a remote role with onsite travel to Brisbane, California as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in analytical/technical or scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years in a software development environment, ideally biotech/NGS.
Deep expertise in identification and prioritization of software features.
Experience leading software development efforts to meet regulated market standards (FDA, CAP/CLIA) in labs/diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Define requirements and manage development processes for data platform and tools.
Translate product requirements into Epics and Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Track and drive development using Jira and ensure delivery.
Lead interactions between users and engineers to align on needs.
Create and operationalize a comprehensive technical strategy and roadmap for data products.
