Job summary

Freenome seeks a Technical Product Manager to plan and coordinate engineering initiatives for the Commercial Data Platform and Data Products. You will drive requirement gathering, translate them into Epics and Stories, and align with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant data solutions.

You will lead discussions with decision-makers to shape a comprehensive roadmap and apply Agile practices to enable seamless execution across Commercial, Laboratory, and R&D groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of software development experience, ideally in biotech/NGS.
• Deep expertise in identifying and prioritizing software features.
• Ability to lead complex trade-off decisions across functions and improve processes.
• Experience leading development to meet regulated market standards (FDA, CAP/CLIA).

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and manage development processes for data platform and tools.
• Partner with stakeholders to elicit requirements, optimize workflows, and align with regulatory standards.
• Translate product requirements into Epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Track development progress using Jira and drive fulfillment of requirements.
• Create and execute a comprehensive technical strategy and integrated roadmap for data products.
