Milliman IntelliScript is seeking a data-savvy analyst to support the Irix technology stack and risk management workflows for health plans and insurers. You’ll learn the system internals, communicate complex topics clearly, and implement non-clinical adjustments while aiding clinical tweaks where needed.

The role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and rigorous testing, with opportunities to contribute to forecasting studies and evidence-based research.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in any field
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience with MS Office: Excel
• Experience with SQL including joins, aggregates, and stored procedures
• Experience with C#, Java, Python or any OO language
• Able to use Generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot
• Familiar with Databricks and AWS
• Ability to handle confidential information (HIPAA)

Responsibilities

• Support Irix technology as a technical expert
• Learn the inner workings of our technology and explain technical topics
• Adjust Irix Rules Engine non-clinical settings and assist with clinical tweaks
• Perform detailed impact and regression testing for client and clinical changes
• Create, identify and analyze test cases for proposed rule changes
• Update project management system with specs and task statuses
• Check and validate team output in peer reviews
• Prepare and run reports for evidence-based research initiatives
• Deploy cloud-based testing environments and legacy on-prem systems
