Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Technical Manager in the Dams & Waterfront Group to lead and grow the structural design team on complex dam, waterfront, and heavy civil projects in the USA.

You will oversee investigations, analysis, designs, and construction-phase engineering for dam safety, waterfront improvements, and related works, collaborating with multi-disciplinary leaders to deliver high-quality structures.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering and PE license.
• 15+ years of experience in structural design for dams, waterfronts, or heavy civil works.
• Experience with STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL, and design codes.
• Familiarity with dam safety guidelines and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and performance of the structural design staff on dams and waterfront projects.
• Perform analysis, design, and construction phase engineering for dam safety and related structures.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, and construction plans with QA/QC.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to design concepts.
