Job summary

Ramboll seeks a Technical Manager in Structural Engineering for the Dams & Waterfront Group in the USA. You will lead the structural design staff, oversee investigations, analyses, and construction-phase engineering for dam safety, waterfront improvements, and heavy civil projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in civil/structural engineering, PE license, 15+ years of experience, and proficiency with STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL, and related tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Registered Professional Engineer designation preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in structural design for heavy civil/industrial projects.
• Experience with dams, bulkheads, piers, cofferdams and waterfront structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and performance of the structural design staff.
• Perform evaluation, analysis, and construction phase review for dam safety projects.
• Prepare design concepts, calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Coordinate QA/QC and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams.
