Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Technical Manager in the Dams Group to lead structural design staff on heavy civil dam projects, including waterfront works. This remote role can sit anywhere in the USA and requires extensive dam-related experience and a PE license.

You will collaborate with discipline leads, develop design concepts, perform analyses, and produce construction-ready plans and reports for dam safety and waterfront redevelopment projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 15+ years of experience in structural design for dams, hydraulics, waterfronts or heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluation, analysis, design, and construction phase review of dams and hydraulic structures.
• Inspect and report on project structures and prepare design calculations.
• Develop design concepts, methodologies, and constructability reviews.
• Prepare detailed construction plans and specifications for complex structures.
• Engage in technical societies to stay current with standards.
