Bright Vision Technologies is a forward-thinking software company seeking an experienced Technical Lead Engineer to guide technical leadership across multiple teams and drive design and execution of complex initiatives.

As a Staff engineer, you will shape architecture, raise the engineering bar, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions while delivering ambitious roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of large, complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Develop architectural standards and reference patterns adopted across teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction.
• Lead design reviews and architectural decisions for high-impact initiatives.
• Translate long-term goals into concrete engineering plans.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of critical platforms.
• Lead production incident response and post-incident learning.
• Collaborate on roadmaps with managers, product, and executives.
• Uphold engineering hiring standards via interviews and calibration.
• Contribute hands-on code where most leveraged, focusing on high-impact components.
• Drive engineering culture, code quality, documentation, and operational rigor.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional planning and decision making.
• Author and review RFCs and architecture records for durable memory across the org.
