Job summary

Indeed seeks a Software Engineer VI to serve as a Technical Fellow for the Interop space, shaping architectural strategy across external integrations. You will partner with senior engineers, product leads, and executives to ensure scalable, reliable B2B integrations and set technical direction for a 40-50+ engineer organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive architecture/software design experience.
• Experience with SOA, distributed systems, APIs, and data platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience applying AI/ML to accelerate architecture and integration quality at scale.
• Strong ownership as a principal technical/product contributor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering, product and execs.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural assessment and simplification across teams.
• Guide architectural decisions with senior engineers and business partners.
• Document architectural decisions and trade-offs effectively.
• Translate needs into improvements for shared platforms/tools.
• Contribute code and design improvements to internal systems.
• Influence standards and best practices across the organization.
