Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Technical Editor to join the Army TEN-M program. This remote role supports development, editing, and maintenance of technical documents for IT management and user documentation.

The editor will work with engineering teams to produce installation and transition guides and ensure accuracy across software and hardware documentation. The position requires 5–10 years of related experience, a BS/BA degree, and a preference for an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree required; related experience considered in lieu of degree
• 5–10 years of related experience
• Security clearance: Active Secret clearance desired
• Location: Remote within the US
• Travel: 25%–50% travel

Responsibilities

• Develops, edits, and maintains technical documents for full enterprise IT management
• Writes and edits documentation for hardware and software, including installation, configuration, how-to, and transition docs
• Provides guidance for crafting and refining highly complex articles
• Collaborates with technical teams to deliver content
• Edits graphics, tables, and illustrations and produces end-user guides
