Job summary

STI Federal, working with Chippewa Government Solutions LLC, a Sault Tribe Inc. company, is seeking a Journeyman Technical Editor to edit and prepare technical reports, guidance documents, brochures, SOPs, and manuals for internal and external use.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing and editing skills, research complex material, verify copy with SMEs and program offices, and coordinate the production and distribution of materials across DOE program offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant editing/writing experience.
• Ability to verify copy with program offices, SMEs, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Edit and prepare technical reports, guidance documents, brochures, SOPs, and manuals.
• Research literature and program documentation to ensure technical accuracy.
• Coordinate with program offices, SMEs, analysts, and engineers for content approval.
• Prepare summaries, templates, and visual aids for senior staff review.
