Job summary

Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is seeking a Technical Course Developer (Remote) to design and deliver technical training for SATCOM and military systems. You will create curricula, eLearning content, assessments, and certifications, aligning with NATO training standards and coordinating with engineering, logistics, and customer teams.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in technical training development, ISD/NSAT proficiency, and the ability to produce instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing technical training programs.
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, SATCOM, IT, or military programs.
• Experience with curriculum development and adult learning.
• Experience developing instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Training Needs Analysis activities and identify training requirements.
• Develop learning objectives, curricula, instructional materials, and assessment strategies.
• Apply ISD principles and NSAT methodologies throughout the training lifecycle.
• Develop training programs covering SATCOM systems, maintenance, cybersecurity, and system administration.
• Create training products including Student Guides, Instructor Guides, Master Lesson Plans, Course Syllabi, and more.
• Design and develop SCORM-compliant eLearning content, simulations, and online assessments.
• Develop performance-based assessments and certification programs.
• Collaborate with engineering and logistics teams to integrate manuals into training.
• Support Train-the-Trainer programs and instructor certification events.
