Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Active CPA license is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, accounting advisory, corporate controllership, or complex financial reporting; Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.
• Broad U.S. GAAP expertise: revenue, leases, stock-based compensation, capitalization, intangibles, consolidations, intercompany, multi-entity/currency structures.
• Experience with equity accounting, capitalization tables, and equity rollforward.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and close-management tools (FloQast, Numeric) and equity administration (Carta, Slice).
• Demonstrated ability to draft audit-ready memorandums and implement conclusions in recurring operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and quarterly close processes and financial reporting preparation.
• Lead equity and other compensation awards accounting; coordinate with Equity Administration.
• Resolve technical accounting matters and operationalize conclusions via memos, policies, entries, and footnotes.
• Serve as primary accounting contact for external auditors and tie-outs.
• Be the subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP technical issues and close processes.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting policies and memorandums, ensuring consistent application.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and explain material movements to finance leadership.
• Monitor emerging accounting standards and translate guidance into policies and processes.
• Apply AI tools to streamline technical workflows and accelerate the close.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Revenue, People, and Operations on new initiatives.
