Job summary

Pebl seeks a Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting to join the Controllership Team. This fully remote role blends technical accounting with operational rigor, owning the monthly close, equity accounting, and audits, while building scalable processes.

Reporting to the Assistant Global Controller, you will partner across FP&A, Legal, Revenue, People, and Operations, apply AI tools to streamline workflows, and drive standards and controls that support a global business.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting or related fields.
• Broad US GAAP expertise across revenue, leases, stock-based comp, and more.
• Experience with equity accounting and capitalization tables.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and close-management tools; AI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly close reporting including cash flows.
• Manage equity and compensation awards accounting with Equity Administration.
• Lead technical accounting matters and document with memos and policies.
• Serve as main contact for external auditors and PBC requests.
• Be the subject matter expert on complex US GAAP topics and disclosures.
• Support month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting policies and perform variance analyses.
• Monitor new accounting standards and translate to policies.
• Apply AI tools to streamline workflows and accelerate close.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Revenue, People, and Operations on initiatives.
