Job summary
Polynt Composites USA is seeking a Technical Assistance Representative/Chemist for the Composite Resins technology area in the Western region of the United States. This role interfaces with commercial, operations and R&D to support customers, conduct trials, and drive product recommendations.
The position requires a chemistry-related degree with at least two years of experience in polyester/vinyl ester resins or similar systems.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering or related science/engineering field.
- Minimum of 2 years related industry experience in polyester and vinyl ester thermoset resins, other thermoset resins and/or gel coats.
Responsibilities
- Health, Safety and Quality—adhere to OSHA, DOT, EPA and CHP requirements.
- Product line knowledge: assess processing parameters and end-use requirements.
- Provide training to customers and Polynt personnel; perform demonstrations.
- Document product performance during trials and communicate results to teams.
- Run process reviews and troubleshoot Polynt products with customers.
