Cognizant is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and tech-enabled solutions within its Digital Engineering team.

You will partner with stakeholders, document user stories, and facilitate Agile ceremonies while leveraging Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to uncover opportunities. Remote work is offered, with location flexibility in the US.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a Business Analyst/Technical BA in enterprise tech.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating user stories and specs.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and Jira for delivery.
• Data analysis with Excel/SQL; Tableau or Power BI exposure.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot/.NET Core environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to translate complex tech into clear business language.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and tech stakeholders to elicit & prioritize requirements.
• Translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, flows, specs, and traceable docs.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement and sprints.
• Analyze data/workflows using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to spot improvements.
• Collaborate with Java, Spring Boot, .NET Core teams, QA, and delivery teams.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, release readiness, training, and stakeholder comms.
• Track decisions, risks, dependencies, and actions in Jira; support timelines.
