Job summary

Coastal Cloud LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with clients and delivery teams to understand objectives, gather and document requirements, and translate needs into scalable technology solutions. You will facilitate discovery, document processes, create user stories, and support testing and implementation, collaborating with architects, developers, PMs, and stakeholders to drive value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar client-facing consulting role.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, process mapping, and improvements.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and user stories.
• Ability to document complex processes and translate requirements into technical deliverables.
• Experience facilitating workshops and presenting to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for digital transformation.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements meetings to define future-state solutions.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, PMs, and QA to align solutions with objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency.
• Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Coordinate UAT, test scenarios, defects, and stakeholder signoff.
• Analyze data and processes to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Maintain BRDs, process maps, gap analyses, decision logs, and training materials.
• Support change management, training, communications, and adoption planning.
• Serve as trusted advisor advising on technology solutions and business outcomes.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, demos, estimations, and proposals as needed.
