Job summary

Milliman IntelliScript is seeking a Data Analyst for the Technical Operations team. You will support Irix technology, learn its inner workings, and perform non-clinical adjustments and testing for the Irix Rules Engine, contributing to mortality and incidence studies and regression testing.

You will collaborate with clients, document requirements, and ensure accuracy while deploying both cloud-based and legacy systems to test and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with MS Office: Excel in particular.
• Experience with SQL including joins, aggregate functions, and stored procedures.
• Experience with C#, Java, Python, or any other object-oriented programming language.
• Ability to use Generative AI tools to support analysis, documentation, testing, and productivity.
• Familiar with Databricks and AWS.
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Support Irix technology, serving as a technical subject matter expert.
• Learn the inner workings of our technology and communicate effectively on technical subjects.
• Execute all non-clinical adjustments to Irix Rules Engine and assist with clinical adjustments where necessary.
• Perform detailed impact and regression testing within the Irix Rules Engine for client and clinical changes.
• Conduct mortality, incidence rate, and decision simulation studies following rule changes.
• Assist with user acceptance testing of system changes.
• Create, identify, and analyze test cases for proposed rule changes.
• Update project management system with specifications and changes, statuses of tasks.
• Check and validate team members' work and results in peer review workflow.
• Prepare and run reports for evidence-based research initiatives.
• Deploy cloud-based systems to test and deploy legacy on-prem systems to test and production.
