Job summary

Pebl is seeking a remote Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting to join our Controllership Team in the United States. This role focuses on technical accounting, monthly close, and scalable processes to support audits and internal controls.

You will own financial reporting, equity and other compensation accounting, and partner with auditors to deliver audit-ready conclusions while leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and improve accuracy. A CPA is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Active CPA license is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, corporate controllership, or complex financial reporting.
• Broad U.S. GAAP expertise including revenue, leases, stock-based compensation, and multi-entity structures.
• Experience with equity accounting and capitalization tables.
• Proficiency with ERP/close tools (NetSuite, FloQast) and equity administration systems.
• Advanced Excel with large datasets, pivots, and formulas.
• Hands-on use of AI tools for accounting workflows.
• Strong communication and audit coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly close processes and financial reporting.
• Lead equity and other compensation awards accounting.
• Draft technical memos, policies, journal entries, and footnotes.
• Serve as primary accounting contact for external auditors.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP in classification, measurement, disclosures.
• Perform flux/variance analysis and explain material movements.
• Maintain accounting policies and documentation.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Revenue, and Operations on initiatives.
