BLOOMERANG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Tech Lead) to join as the senior technical engineer on a delivery team. You will drive technical outcomes, write code, and mentor engineers while shaping architectural direction and AI-driven practices in an AI-first world.

You will own the technical outcomes for your team, partnering with Product, QA, and Engineering to create scalable software for nonprofits.

Formación

• Strong, recent experience building and shipping production software as a hands-on engineer.
• Deep proficiency in .NET/C# and TypeScript/Node, with strong experience in React and modern web development.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, SQL, asynchronous programming, automated testing, and production debugging/observability.
• The ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions that balance scalability, reliability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
• Helpful, but not required: Experience with .NET Core, NestJS, Kafka, AWS/cloud infrastructure, or CRM platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Own the team's technical outcomes. Set a high bar for code quality, reliability, maintainability, security, and technical execution, and ensure the team ships accordingly.
• Lead technical direction and design within the team's domain, translating problems into pragmatic solutions and driving features through to delivery.
• Mentor engineers across experience levels and push for continuous improvement in engineering practices.
• Champion AI-driven engineering and automation, leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and quality.
• Balance delivery with long-term technical health by identifying debt and risks and addressing them.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems using deep debugging and observability.
• Own quality end-to-end with automated testing, code reviews, and feedback.
