Job summary

Atwell, LLC in Midland, TX is seeking a Team Lead for the Oil & Gas group to grow and lead an engineering team delivering Electrical Engineering scopes for industrial clients. The role focuses on timely, high-quality work, SBP development, and staff mentorship within a growing Permian Basin team.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, proposal support, and client relations, with remote work possibility for Midland/Odessa. Requires PE preferred, 5+ years’ experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience.
• PE licensure preferred but can be offset with industry experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Must reside in Midland/Odessa, TX area or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, drafters, designers, and technicians on Electrical Engineering scopes.
• Develop and enforce department Standard Best Practices (SBP’s).
• Mentor team members and support individual professional growth.
• Manage budgets, scope, and backlogs for projects.
• Prepare technical write-ups for change orders and submittals.
• Support business development and client communications as needed.
• Ensure safety and quality in all project activities.
