Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer with energy experience to drive design for oil, gas, CO2, hydrogen, and RNG pipelines and facilities across the United States. As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead project teams, provide technical guidance, coordinate with clients and regulators, and ensure deliverables meet project specifications while advancing Atwell's objectives.

The role includes travel to project sites and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical, Petroleum or related field.
• Professional PE license highly preferred.
• Experience leading engineering teams on Oil & Gas / Energy projects.
• Strong communication with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering activities for major Oil & Gas / Energy projects.
• Coordinate with EPC or external consultants to review design submittals.
• Manage external firms and sub-contractors to ensure design quality.
• Provide engineering input at feasibility through detailed design stages.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Development, Permitting, GIS, Land).
