Job summary

Family Services seeks a Team Lead to supervise the 988 Wisconsin Lifeline program. This remote role supports Lifeline Counselors during a 7:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. shift on a 2-2-3 schedule, providing coaching, escalation, and crisis intervention as needed.

Working closely with program managers and clinical staff, you will ensure trauma-informed, person-centered care, oversee documentation, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining program integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; preferred fields include Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services.
• Minimum 1 year of crisis intervention or behavioral health experience.
• Experience in peer leadership, mentoring, training, coaching, or real-time staff support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time shift leadership and coaching to Lifeline Counselors.
• Support onboarding, observation, and skill development for staff and interns.
• Escalate clinical, safety, or operational concerns to leadership.
• Monitor workflow, service demand, and shift priorities to maintain service levels.
• Deliver direct crisis intervention by phone, chat, or text when needed.
• Collaborate with program leadership to improve processes and outcomes.
