Job summary

Family Services is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead the Wisconsin Lifeline (988) program remotely. You will supervise Lifeline Counselors, coach on-call crises, and ensure compliant, high-quality crisis intervention services.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, workflow coordination, and staff development while upholding agency policies, HIPAA, and accreditation standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in a related discipline (SOC/health admin etc).
• Minimum three years in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for Lifeline staff.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment and promote staff engagement.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular coaching and development plans.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and retention activities.
• Provide operational guidance and decision support during routine operations and crises.
• Lead on-call rotation and provide in-the-moment coaching.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, call observation, and supervised practice.
• Identify recurring themes and escalate to leadership for follow-up.
• Support crisis interventions and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure client-centered service delivery.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and performance to meet service demands.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness.
• Support workforce development and staff competency.
• Ensure HIPAA, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
