Job summary

Jobot is seeking a tax professional in Sacramento, CA to manage complex engagements for our diverse client base. The role focuses on federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corps, with proactive planning and high-quality delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA license (or in progress), a Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred, and strong skills in CCH and client relationship management. This position offers a competitive base salary with full benefits and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, ideally in a Big 4 firm.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Extensive experience with complex passthrough entities and high net worth owners.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax professionals.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, delivering quality tax solutions for clients.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and their owners.
• Utilize CCH to research and consult on various tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries when requested.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
