Job summary

Taxes R Us Inc is seeking motivated Tax Professionals who already service their own clients for the upcoming tax season. A dynamic Tax Preparer will handle individual, corporate, and partnership returns using leading software, ensuring accurate filings and compliant advice.

You will engage with clients to gather information, explain tax positions, and implement planning strategies to minimize liabilities, while contributing to business development and client relationships in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or related financial roles with a focus on individual or corporate taxes.
• Strong knowledge of tax law, compliance procedures, and reporting requirements across various types of taxes.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software such as TurboTax, Drake Tax, or similar platforms; experience with accounting software like QuickBooks and Sage is highly desirable.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using tax preparation software and accounting tools.
• Ensure all tax documents are complete, accurate, and submitted in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and supporting documents to determine taxable income and applicable deductions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax positions, and answer questions regarding their filings.
• Stay current on changes in tax law and regulations to provide compliant advice and optimize tax strategies for clients.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities and maximize refunds or benefits.
• Support client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and building strong relationships that foster long-term trust.
