Polished Talent Group is seeking Remote Tax Preparers to assist clients with individual federal and state returns. This flexible role is remote and commission-based, with full-time and part-time opportunities.

Training is provided, and prior tax prep experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include collecting documents, preparing returns, reviewing for accuracy, and maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Active IRS PTIN or willingness to obtain one before preparing tax returns.
• Must complete required tax preparation training before preparing client returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns using professional tax software.
• Collect, review, and organize client tax documents.
• Verify information for accuracy and completeness before filing.
• Communicate professionally with clients throughout the tax preparation process.
• Explain the tax preparation process and request missing documentation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial and personal information.
• Follow IRS regulations, company policies, and tax compliance requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.
• Meet established deadlines during tax season.
• Market your tax preparation services and grow your client base through networking, referrals, and community outreach.
