Overview

Remote Tax Preparer – Intuitive Tax Solutions is seeking Remote Tax Preparers to assist clients with the preparation of individual federal and state income tax returns.

This is a remote, commission-based position with full-time and part-time opportunities available. Prior tax preparation experience is preferred but not required. Candidates without prior experience must successfully complete required tax preparation training before preparing client returns which will be provided.

Tax Preparers are responsible for accurately preparing tax returns, reviewing client-provided documentation, communicating with clients regarding required information, and maintaining taxpayer confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
• Previous tax preparation or financial services experience is a plus but not required
• Must have an active IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or be willing to obtain one before preparing tax returns
• Must successfully complete required tax preparation training before preparing client returns

Compensation
