Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Summer Tax Internship for students pursuing a 4-year undergrad or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance. You’ll work on tax processes and software, delivering real world impact.

You'll analyze tax drivers, conduct policy research, and build SQL reports from Snowflake. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and data storytelling will help you present insights to leaders during virtual cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergrad or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Strong numeric/data analytics skills and data storytelling.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• SQL experience is a plus; Power BI familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to leaders.
• Experience with virtual cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze California property tax drivers.
• Analyze pending tax legislation impacting customers and DIRECTV.
• Create SQL reports from Snowflake.
• Support internal tax processes and software improvements.
• Present insights to leaders in a cross-functional virtual setting.
