Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Summer Intern position in our Tax team. You’ll work on internal tax processes and data analysis, gaining exposure to how taxes affect net income and cross-functional initiatives.

We’re looking for students pursuing a 4-year undergrad or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance, with strong Excel, Power BI, SQL, and data storytelling skills; comfortable presenting to leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergraduate or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Strong numerical and data analytics skills with ability to tell insights from data.
• Comfortable presenting findings to leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL experience is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Analyze California property tax drivers and other tax data.
• Conduct deep financial analysis on pending tax legislation affecting customers or DIRECTV.
• Create SQL reports and insights from Snowflake for internal stakeholders.
