Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Summer Intern position in Tax. You will help minimize operating taxes and support internal tax processes and software, gaining hands-on experience with data analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a 4-year undergrad or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, data storytelling, and comfort presenting to leaders. SQL and Power BI experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; able to present insights clearly.
• Experience with data analytics/visualization and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drivers of California property tax values.
• Conduct financial analysis around pending tax legislation affecting customers/director of DIRECTV.
• Perform SQL reporting from Snowflake and build dashboards.
