In this role you will guide clients through their returns, provide planning advice throughout the year, and collaborate with our compliance team. Equity and remote work across the U.S. are offered.

Qualifications

• You hold an active CPA license or EA credential.
• You have 3 to 5 years of tax experience at a firm serving business owners and high earners, including preparing and reviewing returns yourself.
• You have worked across several: multi-state returns, K-1 investments, RSUs and stock options, S corp and partnership pass-through entities, and real estate.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their situation and needs for the year.
• Review each return before filing to ensure accuracy.
• Walk clients through their drafts and explain changes from last year.
• Answer planning questions through the year, including quarterly estimates.
• Collaborate with Tax Compliance Managers on year-round tax planning.
• Explain complex tax questions in plain language to clients.
