Job summary

Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full life cycle recruiting for internships and professional roles across our construction and corporate teams. You'll coordinate interviews, partnerships with colleges, and onboarding with HR and IT to ensure a smooth start for new hires.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of onboarding processes
• Experience with employee training and development principles
• Knowledge of employee retention strategies
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Well organized, detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, interview coordination, and administration of internship programs
• Execute full life cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing
• Organize and attend college career fairs and follow ups (phone screens, interviews, offers)
• Select summer interns to meet staffing needs
• Oversee onboarding with HR and IT
• Develop and post engaging job postings on boards and university sites
• Maintain ATS and recruitment database throughout process
• Coordinate communication and scheduling for all candidate interviews
• Draft offer letters and distribute to hiring managers
• Build relationships with operational leaders and external organizations to identify talent
